Dele Alli signs for Tottenham
Tottenham have confirmed the signing of MK Dons starlet Dele Alli on a five-and-a-half-year deal.
MirrorFootball brought you the news on Sunday that Spurs had made a shock late move for the 18-year-old, who will now be loaned back to MK Dons for the remainder of the season.
Newcastle and Aston Villa lead the race for Alli earlier this month, with a number of Premier League clubs interested.
The Magpies thought they had struck a deal with the League One outfit last week but it is Spurs who have now landed the highly-rated midfielder for a reported £5million.
Alli told Spurs' official website: "It's a massive club and I'm really happy to be here.
"I'm really looking forward to meeting all the lads and getting to work with the manager. It's a dream come true.

"I'd love to play for Spurs and at White Hart Lane. It won't be easy and I'll have to fight for my place in the team but I'll work to do that."
Alli has shone at MK Dons this season, scoring 12 goals in 31 appearances for Karl Robinson's men as they eye promotion into the Championship.
His arrival follows the news of Harry Kane's new contract in north London, with the striker also pledging his future to the club until 2020.
The 27-year-old has been used sparingly by Mauricio Pochettino this term and heads to Goodison Park with a view to a permanent deal.
