Juan Cuadrado has thanked God for making his protracted move to Chelsea
came to pass.
The highly rated Colombian winger
completed his move to the Premier League leaders on Monday’s Transfer
Deadline from Italian outfit, Fiorentina.
The 26-year old tweeted: "Thanks
to everyone for your messages. I am very grateful to God."
On the same breath, Cuadrado, who
impressed for Colombia during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil says it’s a
dream come true to work with Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho.
He told Chelsea TV:
"It is really going to be brilliant to work with one of the best coaches
anywhere in the world. I’m very proud to be playing for him and I think he is
going to help me grow into a better player."
"The best part about this
dream is that I’m going to be part of such a big club. For me that is a huge
motivation to perform well.
"I’m a quick and positive player
and I hope to show that on the field of play and help all of my
teammates."
Cuadrado had scored four goals in 17
league appearances for Fiorentina this season.
His arrival saw Germany forward Andre
Schurrle move to Wolfsburg.
