Arsenal star Theo Walcott has revealed his distaste of the transfer
deadline day saying it's the most "stressful times" for
footballers.
Transfer deadline is the last day
clubs can buy and sell players and the England international says most players
cannot focus due to speculation over their future.
The 25-year old said: "I
will be watching Sky Sports and seeing all the rumours. But it is probably one
of the most stressful times for a footballer.
"I am sure a lot of people enjoy
watching that but it is so stressful for players because you could be going
somewhere one minute and then somewhere else the next.
"We are talking about some
people's careers."
His side Arsenal may not
be active in the transfer deadline after manager Arsene Wenger confirmed he is
done following the signing of defender Gabriel Paulista and teenage polish
midfielder Krystian Bielik.
Walcott was on target for Arsenal on
Sunday in their 5-0 thumping of Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.
