The Tottenham Hotspur hotshot has been a revelation this season and
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has called on Roy Hodgson to hand him senior
international debut before it’s too late.
The 21-year old scored a brace in
Spurs’ 2-1 Premier League win over the Gunners on Saturday at White
Hart Lane taking his tally to 22 in 34 games this season.
Kane, who could also represent
Republic of Ireland due to his father's roots has yet to be given chance to
prove himself with the Three Lions.
Wenger told reporters: "When you
have scored the number of goals he has scored, if you don't put him in there,
someone will give him a passport from another country.
Hodgson was at White Lane but Kane
has played down any contact with the England manager.
The 21-year-old told BBC
Sport: "The next game (international match) is not until March and
there is a lot of football to play before then.
"I have just got to keep doing
what I am doing and do my best for the team, and we will see what
happens."
