Manchester United captain Wayne
Rooney hopes to continue his impressive goal scoring record against West Ham
United when the Red Devils play the Hammers at Upton Park on
Sunday.
The England international has scored
11 Premier League goals against the Hammers.
Rooney told MUTV:
"West Ham are a team I enjoy playing against and, thankfully, I've scored
quite a few goals against them over the years and hopefully I can get another
one this weekend.
"You don't really think about
what's happened in the past at stadiums, whether you've won or lost, you just
focus on that day and that game, and trying to do well on that occasion. But
I've done well at their stadium and scored a few goals."
Rooney is the only Manchester United
player to have ever scored a hat-trick against West Ham.
