The three time Ballon d’Or winner turns 30 today and his achievements so far are just out of this world.

From Manchester United to Real Madrid, below are some of his eye-catching achievements that make the Portuguese legend one of football greats ever.

£12.24m – The amount Manchester United forked out to secure his signature form Sporting Lisbon in August, 2003 after Sir Alex Ferguson watched him tear his side in 3-1 friendly win.

28 - The number Ronaldo requested to wear at Old Trafford but Sir Alex Ferguson gave him n0. 7 and he did justice to the legendary shirt.

9 – Number of trophies Ronaldo won with the Red Devils. These includes Champions League (2008) and three Premier League titles (2007, 2008 and 2009.

118 - Ronaldo found the net 118 times in 292 appearances in all competitions for United. 

£80m –Real Madrid broke the bank to sign Ronaldo from United, then world record transfer fee in 2009. Eclipsed by Gareth Bale’s £85m move from Tottenham to Madrid in 2013.
