Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has
backed legendary France midfielder Zinedine Zidane to succeed him at the
Bernabue.
Zidane was the Italian tactician’s
understudy last season before he was appointed head coach of Real Madrid’s
second string side Castilla and has really impressed.
Ancelotti told reporters: “I
value the work he is doing. He's doing a great job.
"This is his first year in
charge and he's doing fantastically well.
"He has taken Castilla to the
top of the division and now they have to stay there. There's no doubt he has
all the qualities to manage a great team, especially one like Real Madrid.
