Premier League leaders Chelsea, have been handed a huge boost ahead of
their Premier League clash with Everton on Wednesday after play maker
Cesc Fabregas was given clean bill of health to feature.
The Spanish international sat out
Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Saturday with hamstring strain
he picked up against Liverpool last month but manager Jose Mourinho says it was
a precautionary decision.
Speaking to the London
Evening Standard Mourinho said: "I think Fabregas
plays on Wednesday because against Villa the decision was to protect
him.
"I didn't want to risk two
players at the same time because Willian had a minor problem from the previous
game and was also risk.
"So to start two players with a
risk was a big gamble. So we gambled with one."
The West London outfit are sitting
pretty on the Premier League summit with a seven point advantage over second
placed Manchester City who play Stoke City on the same day.
