Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has downplayed his side’s
poor run ahead of the Premier League clash with Stoke City on Wednesday.
The Premier League Champions have
failed to win a Premier League match since New Year's Day and had to
depend on a last gasp James Milner free-kick to rescue a point at home to
Hull City on Saturday.
However, the Chilean tactician has
allayed fears claiming his side were in a similar position last season but went
on to clinch the title.
He told reporters: "If we
win tomorrow, we have only one less point than at the same point last
season.
"I don't feel any
pressure."
"We have 10 days after this
(having been knocked out of FA Cup) but it's important to think game by game.
"We have to win against a strong
team.
"They are a very good team.
Especially playing at the Britannia – last season we just won 1-0 at home and
drew away.
"The whole squad is fit. We are
going to go and try to win three points as we always do away from home."
