The Portuguese tactician has refused to carry out mandatory medial
duties in the last two weeks and this could land him in trouble.
The Premier League are due to write
to the Chelsea boss seeking an explanation why he has not addressed the media
recently as is the norm.
Mourinho has been on collision path
with Football Association after the body fine him £25,000 for insinuating that that
there is a campaign to influence officials to award decisions against his side
this season.
Mourinho is also thought to be
enraged by the recent three match ban handed to lead striker Diego Costa who
was found guilty of violent conduct following an incident in Chelsea’s Capital
One Cup semi-final win over Liverpool.
Chelsea’s media duties have been
carried out by assistant coach on two occasions.
Chelsea are currently top of the
Premier League with five point advantage over second placed Manchester City.
