Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has refused to rule out Manchester United
out of the Premier League title race despite being ten points ahead of the Red Devils
with 12 matches to play.
Mourinho’s charges are considered
clear favorites to win this season’s title having opened a five point advantage
over second placed Manchester City, who have played one more game, but the
Portuguese tactician maintains it’s not a foregone conclusion.
Mourinho told ESPN: "It's
in the hands of everyone.
"We have lots of difficult
matches to play. City have difficult matches. [United] are in the title race
too. Liverpool [beating Manchester City] - I predicted that."
Chelsea are on course to win treble
after clinching the League Cup on Sunday by beating Tottenham Hotspur
2-0 and are in the Champions League where they play Paris Saint-Germaine in the
knock out stage.
